Born in Calcutta, India on March, 1973, I am 31 years of age and of Indian Nationality. I successfully completed my graduation at the age of 22, gaining employment with BVC (Bihar Veterinary College) as an IT planning Technician. During my employment with BVC I furthered my academic studies achieving Higher Diploma in Software Engineering, Master Diploma in Hardware & Enterprise Network Engineering, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management. After 5 years with BVC, I went to work for Global Information & Management System (GIMS), Chennai as a Network Support Engineer. Within 2 years I was promoted to Resident Engineer, Patna and Jamshedpur working for GIMS. Prior to leaving GIMS I became an IT Consultant, working for GIMS Consulting Services. I have a total of 10 years experience within the different fields of IT System. I have been working as a Freelance Trainer and Consultant since 1993.

INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
Since leaving the employment of GIMS, I have been providing a freelance Training, Consultancy and Course Authoring service through my own company “Starnet Communications”. Among my customers to date are Global Information and Management System, Bihar Veterinary College, Rajendra Agricultural University, Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Dairy Technology, Sri Sikshayatna School and College Ltd., HDFC Mutual Fund etc.
My consultancy work has focused around Networking (LAN, WAN, Structured Cabling), Business Process Outsourcing, Facility Management, Hardware Management. I have also been involved in some high level design work, migration work, on demand IT planning and designing.
During my career within GIMS, I became the Resident Engineer in a department called Corporate Support. This department was focused on providing in-depth support for all Back Office support to paying strategic customers. I was responsible for resolving all technical management issues within our support team, ensuring GIMS consistently delivered high service levels to our prestigious customer base and provided an escalation and technical mentoring facility for Corporate Support Staff. I planned, ordered and implemented all equipment that was required for customer problem replication, product compatibility testing and designed the machine room that was used as a customer showcase.
Whilst employed by BVC, I took an active role sitting on several steering committees for internal networking standards. I was the senior technician within my MIS locality, responsible for the planning and implementation of over 400 networked nodes. This included LAN and WAN installations.
